A beautiful deep chestnut mare, 7 years old, 14.3 hands. Daughter of Custom Legend (NRHA money earner of over $228,000, NRHA Derby winner). Her dam is an NRHA money earner and Derby finalist.
Velvet has been shown this summer in the North Central Reined Cow Horse Association, winning a Rookie Buckle, is a money earner, and has won the Select Limited Non-Pro. She has her NRHA license and has been shown. She has earned AQHA points in Open and Amateur Ranch Riding. Was shown two times in AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse and was Non-Pro Limited All Around Champion and Reserve Champion.
In the big Iowa Ranch Horse Show, this mare was 2nd out of 28 in Ranch Conformation, 2nd in Ranch Rail Pleasure, and won the Ranch Riding and Ranch Reining classses. This attractive, very correct mare is easy to handle, clip, bathe, and shoe. An excellent broodmare addition to any herd, she is up to date on all vaccinations and deworming.
